I miss my grandma...

This is actually a picture of Jonah about this time last year, holding a pillow Grandma Jan made for him when he was born.

We got a postcard from Grandma Jan yesterday- Jonah was thrilled to get some mail in the mailbox! He "read" it to me, "Dear Jonah, I love you so very much, from Grandma."

Actually he was not far off from what she did write. The postcard had a road runner on it (that is a real bird, if you did not know). She wrote she had seen one in Uncle Jerry's yard in Arizona.

The postcard had all kinds of fun facts about road runners. Did you know they can get up to 17 miles an hour? I told Jonah that was faster that he could ride his bike! He was impressed... for a moment.. but then he suggested a race...
