This year the rain held off during the parade, which was great fun. Jonah loved the floats, Gus loved the sirens and the drum lines in the five marching bands.

We sat curbside accross from the Darigold mural, they had set out crates for the parade watchers.
We saw the Mayor and the Governor...

After the parade, we stopped for a pic at our old block on Dogwood.
We saw a lot of Salmon on our walk back to the Pickering Barn. It was pretty exciting for the boys. We bought some cucumbers for pickles at the Saturday Market at the barn, a few things at Costco and headed home to warm up and roast some tomatos for pasta night. A Cozy finish to our first true fall day!
