Okay, so this tradition of a belly button party started when Gus was born and Jonah ( @2 years old) would ask me daily when he would Gus get his belly button? (as in when would the stump of the umbilical cord fall off.) I told him I would tell him a soon as it happens- once joking we would throw a party- as in I would not let him miss this event! And so we did celebrate Gus' big belly button reveal with a bath and a Bundt cake (belly button cake) and that party was chronicled here:http://jonesers.blogspot.com/2007/07/belly-button-party_18.html.
So this time around was Pete's turn for the big reveal on Day 13, just one day shy of his two week birthday. Grandma and Gus were in charge of the cake.
